Had a really fun morning exploring this very unique adventure in San Diego. Farmer Bill, his family and the local community are rethinking their way of life to be more sustainable. This work in progress that started when Farmer Bill was 17 on an acre and a half is an organic nursery that focuses on returning to the simple things in life and removing the stress of everyday living.
Love the focus on education and building community through the community goat project, folks can own part of a goat and give back by helping with the milking and donating milk back to the project. Farmer Bill’s passion for sharing the love of the land was so invigorating and his passion is easily accessible through their free workshops on everything from bee keeping, planting edible gardens, to cheese making. We highly recommend a few hours wandering this farmyard with your kids and remembering how simple life can be.

We were fascinated by Jason’s Beehive Oven and excited to spread the word about the Cob Building and Beehive Oven Workshop they are hosting at the Nursery on the 29th of April.
